Dr. Mike Strickler
Dr. Michael Strickler is proud to be practicing dentistry in his home town. After graduating from Littlestown High School, he attended Gettysburg College receiving a B.A. degree in Biology and earned his D.M.D. degree from Temple University Dental School in Philadelphia. Dr. Mike joined his father in 1988 and eventually took over the practice when Dr. Orvin Strickler retired. Since 1988 Dr. Mike has continued to take continuing education courses related to dentistry and has maintained membership in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and was the Littlestown Area School dentist for over 20 years.
In the community, he has served as President of the Littlestown Rotary Club, has been a board member of the Littlestown YMCA, and has served on Redeemers United Church of Christ consistory as a Deacon and an Elder.
Dr Mike enjoys cycling, running 5K races, playing baseball, and spending time with his family. His wife, Cindy, also works in the office promoting our patient experience. They have three children. After graduating Seton Hall Law School, their oldest son Porter accepted a position as Deputy Attorney General in the Attorney General’s office of New Jersey. Dalton lives in Hanover and is the father of Dr. Mike’s first grandchild Jackson. Sophia is attending Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Mike is followed around by his loyal puppy Barron.
Dr. Waleed Ahmed
Dr. Waleed Ahmed is excited to join the team at Littlestown. Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, and has always dreamed of pursuing a career in a Health Field. After realizing his passion for face to face patient care, Dr. Ahmed decided to embark on the long path of General Dentistry. Dr. Ahmed was accepted into the University of Delaware and graduated with a B.A. in Biology in 2016. After achieving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Ahmed moved to Philadelphia to pursue a doctorate in Dentistry at Temple University. After four years, Dr. Ahmed accomplished his goals of becoming a dentist and received his DMD in 2020.
Dr. Waleed Ahmed has spent the last year offering service to the Littlestown community, and exploring the Gettysburg/Hanover area. Outside of the community, Dr. Ahmed is big on being outdoors. He is constantly looking for new hikes to explore, and for new places to travel. Dr. Ahmed is also an avid self-proclaimed foodie. He looks forward to continuing to offer the best service possible to the local community!
